Any recommendations for getting started?

Hi Everyone! My name is Gabby and I just (finally) joined Bigger pockets. My husband and I are eager to get started in real estate investing. We are both real estate agents and I’m also an attorney here in California. Real estate investing seems like a whole new animal that we need some guidance on. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to start?  Any good book? Are there mentors out there that can guide us into searching for our first deal? Looking forward to this new adventure!
