Hello. My name is Stuart and I am from Huntsville Al. I've been interested in real estate for a while, I've just never really made the plunge. A good friend of mine was fairly successful flipping houses in Montgomery before the meltdown. He was always trying to talk me into doing the same thing here but I resisted. It seemed like I could feel that the bubble was ready to burst. When it did, it didn't really seem to affect the market in my area very much. It did slow things down a good bit and values seem to have flattened but it seems to be picking up a bit now. He is still flipping houses but at a far slower pace than before. My gut tells me now is as good a time as any to get started, so here we go

I'm self employed as a roofing contractor and business is slow. I'm looking to find a few homes a year to flip for supplemental income and to build capital to purchase some rentals
