New to investing

Hello!!! My name is Kerry. I'm from Grand Junction Colorado. I'm new to the world of real estate investing. Very excited and eager to learn. Interested in home rentals, tax lien investing, BRRRR strategy. Right now, I'm reading and learning everything I can while saving up cash to get started next year investing. I listen to the podcasts when I'm able to and they are fantastic and very informative and helpful.

Hey Kerry, welcome to BiggerPockets! I recommend starting with turnkey properties as your first investment. They require less hands-on management making them a great way to gain experience and build trust with local professionals down the line.

The BRRRR strategy can be profitable but it relies heavily on trustworthy partners. Once you've established a solid team of property managers, contractors and lenders, you'll be well-prepared to take on more complex strategies like BRRRR. Hope this helps!
