Hey BP,

I'm very excited to be here and to learn as much as possible. I found out about this website from investinginyourtwenties.com and am looking forward to networking with fellow investors.

A little about myself...I'm 24 years old and have lived in Wisconsin for most of my life. I currently work for Uncle Sam and have 1 year left on an 8 year military contract. I'm currently in school to become a paramedic and will be done with that next spring. I'm also married and my wife and I are expecting our first child this summer!

As for investing, we currently live in the top-half of a duplex we bought last year with a VA loan. We wanted to dip our toe in the real estate market and have enjoyed it so far. My interest is mainly "buy and hold" with a focus on small properties of 4 units or less.

We won't be purchasing anymore properties until at least next year, I prefer local investing and until I get hired in my new career field it doesn't make much sense to buy more property where we currently live. I'm going to use this year to read and learn as much as possible, I welcome any advice and help you can provide.

Thanks!
