Hello Fellow Investors!!

My name is Abigail (aka Abby). I live in Grand Marais, Michigan, where my family owns and operates Superior Hardware, our family business.

My passion for real estate started when I was 7 and asked my mom if she could download the Trulia app for me on my iPod touch (remember those?!). Every single day, I would log onto Trulia and browse through the homes, picking out my favorites. From that point on, I was always looking at Zillow and Trulia just for the pure enjoyment it brought me.

One gloomy day when I was 16, I was cleaning around the house when I stumbled across the Master Passive Income Podcast by Dustin Heiner. Coming from someone who doesn’t generally like audiobooks or podcasts, I fell in love with the Master Passive Income Podcast, with the Bigger Pockets Podcast following suit. The idea that the very thing I enjoyed most could potentially make me financially free one day seemed to breathe life back into a confused, lost 16-year-old.

For over a year, I continued to watch, listen, and read about real estate investing, as well as study to take my Michigan Real Estate License exam. Fast forward to now, I’m licensed as a Michigan Realtor and ready to start my investing journey.

My goal is to have at least 5 rentals in the next 5 years, with the first rental being a new build house hack in Florida so that I can escape the Michigan winters and the Florida summers.
