Hello everyone I am a recent new member that joined this forum because I would like to learn more about real estate. I am in my mid 20's and am currently snowballing my debt until I have zero! In the meantime I want to learn as much as possible about buying investment property. My goals are pay off all debt (student loan, car loan) save about 20k and buy either a duplex or triplex. I have never owned a home so it will likely be a FHA loan my plans are to buy fix it up and be an owner occupant. Any advice is greatly appreciated especially if you are from mass. Thanks for reading looking forward to learning!

Welcome, Sean, you've come to the right place. You didn't say in your profile what part of Massachusetts you are in, and there is a big difference from one end of the state to the other, so let us know where you are looking to invest and where you live, if they are different. You will find there are many MA investors on the forum, so setting your keywords (see upper right of this page under the yellow podcast banner) will alert you to conversations and topics that you are interested in.

Best of luck, you are smart to start early.
