New To Bigger Pockets from Tri/State Area

Hey all!

My name is Frank and I am new to Bigger Pockets and am located in the NY tri-state area. I became interested in Real Estate investing because my parents are both real estate agents and have been pushing me to get involved even though I have a really good full time job at the moment. So I decided to get my Real Estate license in New York while they have it in NJ and we are getting that business going now. However, my true goal is to use the knowledge from practicing real estate to learn this market and begin building wealth through passive income of owning long term real estate properties. I am interested in flipping homes to generate the capital to make larger purchases and am extremely interested in networking and getting things started. I am excited to be here and am looking forward to interacting and learning from everyone.
