New Member in Kingwood Texas

Found BP about 2 weeks ago and it has been great timing with the upcoming purchase of my first SFH rental in Kingwood tomorrow. I've already learned a lot from the website and the forums. I expect this investment to not be my best one but hope that it is a solid rental. My wife is a realtor in the Kingwood area and knows the market well. Right now the house prices are higher than they were last year, but I was too conservative last year to make the leap. Finally decided to stop watching/reading and start doing. I know I'll make mistakes but will learn from those experiences. Just wanted to thank everyone that participates on BP and provides their insights and experiences for us newbies to learn from.

Some pointers for you: The "Learn" link across the top navigation bar has lots of great info, and so do BP members! You can click on the "vote" button if you like someone's post or is helpful, and there are "awards" to earn on your profile.
