New to REI and BP from Pittsburgh PA

Good morning BP. My name is Adam living in Pittsburgh PA. I am currently looking to jump into REI. I have been reading and browsing BP for a few weeks now and would love some advice from the experienced. Anyone from Pittsburgh that would like to talk I would appreciate it. I am currently an electrician but looking to get out of the rat race. I am learning how to buy and flip and buy and hold.
