Investor for 9 years with 47 units

Hello,

I have been an investor for 9 years, my husband and I have 47 units, I still work a W-2 Job and we have 3 kids. 9 years ago this all started with 1 house and it has snow balled into 47 units so far! Our first rental house was in Omaha, NE then I moved to Lincoln, NE where we bought more houses and eventually made the jump to multi-family with a vacant and condemned 9 unit apartment building that we spent 18 months remodeling. From there we started a partnership with a long time friend of my husbands who has been a real estate investor for a long time and we started buying properties in smaller towns around Nebraska and South Dakota so far. Through that process we have grown our portfolio to 47 units. We are actively buying and interested all over the mid-west. I am hoping to connect with other W-2 people who are working on growing their real estate business to pursue that full time.

Thanks,

Taija
