Househacking in Columbus

Hello all,

I am a 25 y/o interested in getting started in real estate. I just finished reading  The House Hacking Strategy: How to Use Your Home to Achieve Financial Freedom. I am an avid listener of the podcast and have read a few other BP books but feel househacking is the best method for me, at least currently. Are there are any other experienced house hackers in the area as I am debating between purchasing a MFH and renting out each unit vs. purchasing a SFH and renting by the room. I am looking to purchase my first property in 6 months in the Columbus, OH area.

I am also looking for any real estate or entrepreneur groups in the area to learn and share ideas.

Appreciate all the support!

I house hack with Duplexes in Columbus. I personally prefer that over the rent-by-the-room strategy. I think renting by the room can get difficult to manage, especially when you move out of the property
