Hello everyone...I hope this finds you well. I'm currently an operational strategist for a large financial services company in SE PA and am planning to begin investing in real estate in the near future.

I'm a big fan of "transformation" having extensively renovated my own homes over the years. Often times, you'll find me somewhere in my current home "visualizing" my next project. Combine that with my life-long interest in real estate (I just find it fascinating for some reason) and my desire to be my own boss and become "financially free"...well, the more I learn about it, the more this all just resonates. It just makes sense...

Anyway, I'm in knowledge acquisition and networking mode now. I came across Bigger Pockets a few nights ago and have been blown away by its resources, advice, and community. I feel fortunate to have discovered this resource so early in my research.

Since I'm going to start while maintaining a full-time job, I'm thinking wholesaling is the way to go to jump in, continue to learn the business, create a market presence, and build a local network. I'd like to start the occasional rehab as soon as I can since I think that it will be/is my passion. Once established, I'd like to transition to buy-and-hold and build up a portfolio that will support my family's lifestyle.

I'm really looking forward to interacting with all of you on the site and I'm very excited to become a part of this community.

Cheers!
