Hello from California. I am a retired Army vet looking to dive into real estate investing. I've thought about it for quite some time but didn't decide to really give a it a shot until a friend of mine talked me into it. He was so passionate about it, I took it as a sign to give it a try. I currently travel to and from overseas working as a contractor but plan on purchasing a duplex, tri-plex, or four plex in Texas this year as that is where I am relocating to. Until I pull the trigger, I'm trying to be as proactive as possible in regards to obtaining information and such.
