I've been listening to Real Estate Rookie for a while: I'm so grateful to have discovered it through a friend, it's been such a wealth of information about what I'm aiming to do. Really happy to be here on the boards, too. 

* 🌎 I’m based + plan to invest in Northern California, + later in Nevada

* 💫 My goal is to begin building my first of 2-3 STR/land hacks within the year

* 🏠 How I came to Real Estate Investing: I am the longtime Managing Editor of a travel magazine + I have an understanding of what travelers are looking for in an experience.

@Bradley Buxton My sister + her family are there ~ including my 1.5 year old niece. We are originally from Chicago + now are a bit more spread out than we'd like, so that is my 'why', if you will. I plan to self-manage both, so can go between the two locations + spend more time with them.

LOVE love love that you are putting your goals out there!  Honestly, in my opinion, there is not more powerful way to achieve objectives in life than writing them down and then sharing them as much as possible.

I can't be much of a resource for you out in Califonia, but if you happen to decide that you want to invest in your old stomping grounds in Chicago we can most definitely be your boots on the ground!
