Very excited and motivated new investor from Michigan

Hey my name's Zach. I live in Michigan. I became interested in real estate recently while listening to a few podcasts(bigger pockets and real estate rookie). I realized while listening that this could be a great opportunity for me and I feel that I am in a very good place to begin this journey of learning. I am also interested in potentially becoming a private lender on some deals. I have an unorthodox profession(professional gambling) that has allowed me to stockpile a great amount of start up capital and I hope to slowly start to transition into real estate to build long term wealth. I am definitely looking for mentors/partners as I am very new to this with a total of about 20 hours of podcasts under my belt.
