New Minnesota investor, here!

Hello everyone - so nice to join this vibrant community of smart people. We're just starting out but we have some skillsets that will hopefully serve us well in this journey! As an entrepreneur I'm always looking for missing/hidden value and have a great eye for design. My partner is an electrician who has an engineering mind. Together, we're hoping to BRRRR ourselves into some fun projects and set our little family up (we have a 3 year old) well financially.

We both have well paying full-time jobs so we are looking to bring our savings / investments to the next level into generating passive income, too! 

I'm the kind of person that when I set my mind to something I dive in full swing to do everything in my power to make it happen - knowing I don't have to have ALL the answers or know EXACTLY what's going to happen but feel confident in myself to educate myself, figure things out enough to mitigate risk but not get in my own way/talk myself out of it. Hopefully this will also serve me well in this realm! 

I'm looking forward to meeting you all! I'm mostly interested in investing in my home state - Minnesota, but am open to other Great Lakes regions states and communities so would especially love to connect with you if you're in these areas!
