Hello,

Well, I scrolled the forums & could not find a topic dedicated to meet up groups and/or creating a mastermind group for people local/or not local to my area. So I guess I will post on here in hopes to find a smarter people than myself to bounce ideas off of. 

I live in Santa Cruz, CA with my partner in life, enjoying the laid back lifestyle, surf, wine & ocean air. We are both in the medical field so the downtime is limited as we both work long hours & days. Our Why: We spent most of our life in school & work, mostly because our parents told us we had one path in life that leads to "success". We want to enjoy our lives being surrounded by loved ones (humans & doggos), traveling, being outdoors in our camper van, & starting a family.

Working a W2 job was so last generation.

Current real estate situation: Waiting a year for permits to go through to create 2 ADU's on our property to decrease our mortgage. Hopefully within the next month, they will finally be approved. We are also currently still trying to find our first "investment property" & have definitely come close to closing a deal in Reno, NV. However, have yet to close on that 1st, oh so sweet deal quite yet. Putting myself out here in hopes to find like-minded individuals (which everyone here is) to learn, grow & just talk real estate to keep each other accountable. I would hope, despite how minuscule it may be, I may have some knowledge to provide benefits to everyone as well.
