Recent college grad looking for guidance

Hello BP family,

My name is Michael Dodgin. I am finishing my last year at The University of Texas studying investment management. I want to learn how to invest in real estate because I want to be able to be the best father and husband I can possibly be. Both my parents are doctors which means I was blessed financially growing up. However, because of my parents work schedule our family ties suffered. This taught me an important lesson. What is the point of money if you have no time?

I started my real estate journey about 8 months ago. I have been watching the podcast religiously and educating myself. I am currently looking for a MTR in Austin,TX. I am working with realtors and I have connected with lending brokers. I feel there is a lot of potential for getting good deals in Austin.

I am poring all my effort into this because I want to make enough for myself and my parents in order to work on our relationship. I have the WHY now I am looking for people to help me with the HOW. If you have any advice or encouragement I would love to hear it. What I lack in experience hails in comparison to what I am prepared to do. I firmly believe that collaboration is the new currency. Any help I receive you can rest assured I will share that knowledge and try to lift up as many people as possible. Nothing is more important than our relationships. I want to invest smart so that I can make enough time in my life to focus on my relationships. I will leave a link to my Calednly if you would like to talk! Looking forward to meeting some of y'all.

@Michael Dodign have you looked into househacking? It's the easiest way to get started and you don't need much down
