Hi,

I live in Oakland but am from Upstate NY. I own a few small investment properties but am now taking over some of my parents holdings. I have all kinds of questions from how much can I raise rents on my current properties to how to get a 20% cash on cash return and successfully complete a 1031 exchange. My immediate task is to work on finding a suitable property for a 1031 exchange. I would appreciate all guidance and assistance that anyone can provide. I'm not sure what I can contribute since I'm very much a novice but I definitely look forward to learning and being a part of this community.

Hi Auria,

Welcome to BP.

@Bill Exeter is an in-house expert on 1031 Exchange so Bill can definitely help you with your 1031 Exchange questions and needs.

20% CoC return is a very tall order. However some members on BP have been able to achieve it. I hope they will chime in.
