Been Thinking About It For Years

Adam Chalmers
Posted

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about purchasing a small starter home and renting it out, possibly a BRRRR since my wife and I are handy and have a good decorating sense. I'm 49 and not getting any younger, although I'm in great shape! My thought is to pull out money from my IUL and use it as a down payment on a house and rent it out for passive income. Then do that again and again. The BRRRR strategy is very attractive to me as well. Again, we're handy and know how to make things look really nice. We just need to take action! Anyway...just wanted to introduce myself.

Hello Adam I say you go for it. The most important part is choosing the correct house and tenant. There are a lot of posts here on both of those subjects. Do your research and make well informed decisions. Good luck!
