Greetings,

My name is John, and currently reside in Hudson, MA. I'm originally from Maine but after eight years in the military and a handful of DOD contracting gigs, I somehow call Hudson home.

I joined the biggerpockets community to educate myself on real estate investing. One of my first jobs after getting out of the military was starting my own business in the mortgage field services & property preservation on REO properties. After my business took off, I decided to go back into the Defense world as a contractor while still running the business, but this time as a prime contractor.

Throughout my time of traveling and taking pictures of houses that were distressed I have finally realized the opportunities that are available. I have never really known what to do or how to engage in the opportunities, which is why I'm here.

I look forward to learning from this community and creating relationships as well.
