Aspiring Investor in Schaumburg, Illinois

Hey Fellow Investors,

I am a aspiring Real Estate Investor located in Schaumburg, Illinois.  I am currently getting things lined up to purchase the Real Estate Salesperson License course for Illinois, am reading books on sales, listening to podcasts, putting together a business plan, looking up Investor Meetup groups, researching brokerages, and just about to finish the Bigger Pockets book on "How to Invest in Real Estate.  I would love to meet up with active Real Estate Investors in the Chicagoland area/surrounding suburbs to pick your brain a bit, possibly shadow you on day-to-day activities, and see how to successfully go about beginning on this path to wealth through Real Estate.  I have worked hard my whole life thus far and realize it is so important to diversify your portfolio across many different types of investments, a key metric being Real Estate.  My goals with the money will be to retire early, travel (I am a Flight Attendant), pay off my parents mortgage, give back to those in need, save money, and be able to do the things I want to do without the burden of constantly worrying about money.  I am so glad I found the group and can't wait to research all that this site has to offer!

Thanks for your time and for giving a comment if you wish!

Kyle

YoOo @Kyle Barazowski - I grew up not far from you in Elgin, but now live and invest in Chicago.  If you haven't purchased the course yet, definitely PM one of my friends has a company that offers the course at the best rates and with great instructors.  Pm me and i can provide details.

You link up with some of the NW suburbs people like @Mark Ainley, @Mark F., @Joe Mueller, or @Chris Davis.

I love where your head is at about giving back to your parents & others.....good things are bound to come your way if you put your head down and dive into real estate head first.  Working educating, networking and then just start taking action.  If you build a solid team and listen to them you'll be fine.
