Hi All

I’ve just joined the forum and am really impressed by the dedication of the members to help and support newbies like myself. The wealth of information on the site is remarkable.

By way of introduction, I currently live in Edinburgh and own investment property in Canada. I am in the midst of bidding on an apartment building in Montreal and am interested in expanding my portfolio into the U.S. - starting with New York state and Buffalo in particular.

So far I have been lucky that I have good property managers in place so not living close to my investments has not been a big deal. I would be very interested in hearing from members in the forum, who have managed their portfolios remotely in the U.S., as to how they have done this successfully.

Thanks in advance.

Gypsy
