Becoming a Realtor in RTP

Hi everyone!

My name is Austin. I recently graduated from NC State and I want to become a local realtor in the area. Is there any advice on how to become a successful real estate agent? I’ve watched videos and have heard it’s a good idea to work as an assistant for an existing realtor to learn the business but I have no idea how to do that.
