Hi, Everyone. I've been a lurker of BP for several months and have thoroughly enjoyed the Forums, Blogs, and Podcasts. I am a project manager by trade and investor by heart. My initial goal is to purchase my first multifamily rental (fourplex?) before 2013 ends and build my passive income to over $16K/month by 2019. My current focus area Phoenix's East Valley suburbs, specifically those areas in a 10-ish mile radius of ASU.

Since late August, I've been attending Rich Dad Coaching (Real Estate Investing) and have really appreciated what I've learned. Technically speaking, I might have obtained the same (or nearly similar) knowledge here on BP, but I may not have found BP had it not been for the coursework with the RichDad program (learning terms and understanding the keywords to use in my searches). Additionally, the RD program is giving me a lot of structure, the context to put it all together, and a fun "team environment" in which to learn. I see a lot of parallels with the information I'm learning in RD and the information here on BP, which validates the information that both venues provide. That's great for a newbie like me.

I'll be attending my first REAI meetings here in the Phoenix area next week and am very excited! As a project manager, I know first hand that all great successes are the result of teamwork. If there are any readers from my area, feel free to send me a message. Let's learn from and be successful with each other.

I've read the Ultimate Beginner's Guild, listened to the last dozen podcasts, and read lots of the BP Blogs. However, I'm sure I missed something. So I thank you in advance to those who provide me with referrals of your favorite posts, blogs, podcasts, other resources... I love to learn and always appreciate anything and everything others share that promote success.

In closing, I look forward to the many gifts you will all give me over time and to the experiences that I will humbly and faithfully return to others who follow in our footsteps!

~M
