Hi There! New member from the Capital of Cool, Brooklyn NY
Hey now! Hope everyone's doing great! I wanted to throw my hat into the ring here and say hello to all the Real-Estate people in this house.
I guess I am a "low-intermediate" Real-Estate investor in that I already own 3 properties outright, free & clear: My primary home, a Condo rental and a 3-family rental. I am also a passive partner in 2 other properties: a 60 unit apt complex and a commercial property.
I would love to pick-up tips on how to become the world's most efficient & profitable landlord/property-manager (including pitfalls to avoid) and I would certainly also be open to additional Brooklyn investments if the math & cap rates were compelling.
Although I already own some property, I'm not so naive as to think that I don't have much much more to learn from you all and I'm looking forward to learning from the esteemed and experienced real-estate professionals on this site.
Any other Brooklyn investors or Property Managers out there? Would love to touch base.
Thanks!

Hey Jay,
Nice brownstone photo!
I see you've already heard from Darren and @Pete Nater . Both great guys. I just met Pete last week and Darren has put me in touch with some good people.
It sounds like you've already got a fair amount of experience under your belt. I hope the forums provide you with helpful information and food for thought.
Regarding your last post about fixing/flipping here in New York City, I feel your pain. I wanted to do a renovation-flip in Brooklyn, but realized how much easier it would be to complete it outside the city. I opted to do it in California instead. It's always fun to pick up tools and go at it--if you decide to do it, best of luck!
Like @Darren Sager said, it would be great to meet you at one of the meetups. I'm visiting the local REIA's to connect with people in the field. I'm also here in Brooklyn!
