BIg Bear Vacation Rental

Bethany Endres
Posted

Hey everyone!  New to this forum.  I just started escrow on a property in Big Bear City.  I wanted to reach out and see if anyone can give me advice on moving forward with this purchase.  I am kind of getting nervous asking myself if it is a good idea.. Is the market saturated?  Can you please give me feedback on how your properties are doing?

@Bethany Endres the best suggestion I can give you is to contact the city of Big Bear for their requirements.  I am in the process of completing my AirBnb property up there and can tell you there are alot of hoops to go through.  The permitting process is still open, but may close soon.  You must live within 15 miles of your rental or hire someone locally to manage the property.  Lots more rules in place.
