Hello, my name is Art and I am new to the Bigger Pockets community. I have been listening to the podcasts for a while now and I am interested in rental real estate. I live in San Diego, but would like to invest out of state.

I know local investors that started OOS but transition to local.  I know of no local investor that had at least 3 properties that transition to non-commercial OOS at the exclusion of local RE.  That should tell you something; I leave it to you to determine what it tells you.

Good luck with whatever path you choose.

Hey now. You know me. 14 years I’ve invested in Houston. 2000+ units. I’m doing just fine :-)
