New investor looking into SFH in TX/AZ area

Michael Angulo
Posted

Hey Everyone!

I live in Sunnyvale, California. I currently work in sales and love it, pretty good at it. I work remotely and my team is based in Texas. I am thinking of investing in Texas or Arizona to begin. I have not purchased a primary residence and currently live with my family. I am thinking of house hacking my first property in Texas or buying and renting.

I’ve been attending webinars, events, reading, and meeting new people to gain as much knowledge as I can. Through BiggerPockets I’m looking for education, support, and to connect with investors, agents, mentors, and partners.

My buddy and I are looking to purchase a property next year. If I house hack I will go at it alone, if I buy and rent then we will buy the first property together.

Working hard is nothing new for me. I just changed my work hours to dedicate my afternoons/evenings to real estate.

@Michael Angulo which part of Texas? It’s a big state :)

And once you are here you may never want to go back to Cali. At least that is how we feel, we love it here.
