Hey everyone,

Totally new to this. I'm a local youth pastor in MN and I'm looking into getting started in real estate so that I can provide extra income for my growing family. I'm interested in investing in multi unit properties and potentially get into house hacking. Would love any insights or advice from experienced real estate investors! I started down this journey once I realized that being a youth pastor alone would never provide the financial future that I want for my wife and kids so I started investigating real estate and reading "BRRRR".

Its also a good time because mortgage rates are starting to drop and looking good for 2025. If you have not looked into DSCR its another great investor program, No employment, No tax returns needed so DTI is not a factor and it uses the rents to qualify!

@Kent Ford I am not sure you have that accurate. Texas is a non disclosure state with regards to the final sales price. We absolutely have a SDN which is a sellers disclosure notice that is required with SFH purchases.
