Finding Deals in Denver & Surrounding Areas

Daniel Becht
Posted

Hey Y'all - will be moving to Denver in the very near future and am beginning the early stages of learning the market. My goal is to acquire a duplex/triplex/fourplex to Owner Occupy for 1-2 years and move out and continue renting. I have been trawling the MLS/Redfin/Zillow etc... but have had a tough time finding deals that cash flow. Has anyone had luck with wholesalers or other avenues of lead tracking?

Thanks in advance for the help!

There are deals to be had if you know where to look. We've picked up 4 in the last few weeks after a quiet start to the year. One I just posted in the marketplace.

Anyone with a "plex" is usually a little savvier, which is usually reflected in the listing price. If I were you, I'd house hack. They are easier to find and more liquid when you sell.

Where in town are you looking?
