Los Angeles Moratorium

Los Angeles  is putting in place a moratorium which will put a halt to evictions & late fees if a tenant stops paying rent.  If I understood correctly a tenant would have 6 months to pay the rent.  Curious to hear how those in LA plan on handling this..
