Looking for Network in Monterey, CA

Hello BiggerPockets!

My name is Edward and my wife, Kimberly, and I are huge BP fans. We read the blogs and articles nearly every day and have benefited greatly from the advice. We have a fairly new investment business, have done one flip, three wholesales and currently own ten rental units but are in escrow on two more six-plexes and a four plex.

I am in the Marine Corps and I am getting stationed at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA in a few months. We are looking to expand our investments out to there and know that the network is the most critical step. We know no one out there at this point and are not familiar with the area, so any information you can provide on the different areas to invest (salinas, watsonville, santa cruz...etc) and the investing climate of the area would be greatly appreciated.

We are also members of nearly every major REIA in the Southern San Diego area and want to join the clubs near Monterey, so if anyone has any suggestions for good clubs to join that would be awesome too!

Thanks so much and we look forward to working with you guys.

Semper Fi,

Edward Rushing
