Considering turnkey SFR investing in Birmingham AL. Anyone have any experience here? How is this market doing? Is it super difficult to get turn a home into a section 8 rental here?

@Chino Perez I am in Birmingham and focus on Section 8. It's not a hard process. What takes the time is getting the 1st month's rent payment. They will pay you for months missed while processing paperwork. On your 2nd month you typically get the 1st and 2nd month. I turned in a voucher yesterday for one of my properties. This tenant is part of their ownership program so they will buy the house when they complete the program for the appraised value. Very few tenants are part of the ownership program but it's a cherry when you get one.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions navigating the process in Birmingham.
