Alabama Tax Deed - Dept. of Justice Lien
I wish to buy a tax deed for a property in Calhoun County. The county reports that there is a 22 year old Department of Justice lien against the former owner.
How would this affect me? Will it prevent me from filing for ejectment and renting the property out, or will it only prevent me from clearing the title and selling the property unless I satisfy that lien?
