Is this tax sale void?
I have a quote from the state for a deed. The "Assessed to" name on the quote is the name of the owner prior to the owner of record on the date of sale to the state in May 2010 (He sold the property in 2009).
Does this mean that the wrong name was called at the auction and that the sale is void?

@Arnold Finkelstein, there is almost no such things as a void tax sale in Jefferson County, either Birmingham or Bessemer divisions, because of the 1937 Local Law. Read pages 205-206 in your tax sale book for the explanation.
