Do the authorities come to your house looking for your STR people

Two game wardens stopped by my house today.  They were looking for some previous renters of mine.  The renters had about a dozen falcons that they used to eliminate nuisance pigeons around an industrial complex.  The wardens just wanted to make sure the falconers had the proper permits.
