Short term rentals in Wilmington NC
Hey, does anyone have experience with short term rentals in wilmington nc (not by the beach). I was there recently for the weekend to visit family and I had a hard time finding a decent hotel suite available and the rates were about 250 night, and I am thinking there may be a demand between the beaches and Uncw.
My question is first off is there a demand in the city and are there any restrictions from the city for str.
Thank you,

Great question. Some would argue if the hotels aren't there, there's a reason: not enough demand. Not me. We tried finding a hotel several years ago in Vero Beach. Nothing. We stayed in an Airbnb for the first time, an apartment near the ocean. Boom. That started our STR journey and we've been hosting ever sense. A year or two later, hotels were built and the demand is greater than ever.
Your market is near the beach, the college and lots of retiree developments. They all mean visitors.
