Best sites for furnishing airbnb’s
Hey guys, I have an Airbnb, and come April 1st I will have a 2nd one. I wanted to see if there is a specific place to buy bedding, towels, things in that nature, or if there are any sites specifically for buying furniture that’s best for Airbnb use.

Hey @Ryan Kawash, so this is right up my alley. Here is what we did with specific recommendations.
- New mattresses - Zinus 12" Green Tea. I have 3 of these and they are great. Everyone loves them.
- Sheets - We are using The Big One 70/30 percale weave 275TC sheets from Kohl's. They are white and crisp feeling. They wash up great and sleep cool. We have had them for 4 years and with the exception of 1 pillowcase they are all still in service. Percale weave is important as they don't pill up like Sateen.
- Towels - Grandeur Hospitality from Costco. White. They are soft and fluffy with little linting. All of them with one exception are still in service. They go on sale regularly at Costco.
- Comforters - We use the Charisma summer weight from Costco. Our place is primarily a summer rental. They are awesome. Warm enough, they hang great on the bed and are nice and big. So many are just barely big enough so they look terrible. We have a bunch of thick comforters that we have for the winter people we put out as well.
Now all the furniture we have is used from Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and OfferUP. I suggest finding USA made stuff as it will last longer and look better. Styles will depend on what kind of look you want. We went with pine and oak primarily as we are in north Idaho. It is amazing the stuff you can get on the above sites for pennies on the dollar.
Examples from our house:
The dining room set with the credenza was $100. Solid oak, Americana from Thomasville.
Kid's bunkroom. Solid pine bunkbeds were $200 and they were almost new. Mattresses came with and they were new.
Queen Bedroom, Thomasville solid pine bed for $35. The pine hutch was $100 and was handmade in Mexico. You can see the Charisma comforter here.
King Bedroom - King bed is a Ethan Allen and was $150. The other pieces are oak from Carolina Furniture Works. $100 for the set.
So you can see, if you spend some time looking around and move quick, you can get it all done on a decent budget for quality furniture.
