Short term rental lock one bedroom?
For STR , I am looking at a property which is a 5bedroom, 4 bath, but wanted to keep personals in the master bedroom/ bathroom and keep it locked, and only market it as a 4 bedroom.
Is this ok? Has anyone ever done this? Is this common ?
I understand I may lose some clients with less bedrooms but would make some things easier on my end personally. Any guidance is appreciated thank you.

What's the purpose? Locking up a bed and bath can cost you $1,000 or more per month. Put your stuff in storage for less than $100 a month.
If you're going to be successful, you need to look at things with a cost-benefit analysis and make informed decisions.
