Leaving a bad guest review will it hurt my rank

Had my first really bad guest. Trashed my place put a hole in drywall did about 2k in damages. Working with Airbnb at moment but before I leave a bad review I have heard that it can actually hurt your Airbnb rank as a host. Is this true or just hearsay?

Whenever I leave a bad review I always do it late night on the last night to do it. (You have 14 days so day 13 before bed).

Its been my experience that bad guests know they were bad guests. When they see a review was left, they know it’s not a 5* and will be prone to ‘return the review’ with garbage. Because these guests just keep on giving... By doing it at the last minute, they’re less likely to review you in return since the window is closing fast and you can provide an honest review.
