STR/Vacation Home in NC Mountains
HI BP,
My husband and I are seriously looking into purchasing a STR and vacation home in the North Carolina mountain area. We currently live about 4.5-5.5 hours away depending on where we purchase the property, so we would manage the STR remotely. We are considering the Blowing Rock/Boone area, Cashiers, or Bryson City area. Has anyone had success in STR in any of these regions? Are there any other areas that we could be missing out on?

I would suggest talking to @Avery Carl. She has experience buying, selling, and running short-term rentals in that area.
