Hey everyone,

I stumbled across this site in my research on our first short-term vacation rental purchase. It’s a 3BR 2BA condo just over the dunes from the beach. We’re trying to decide on self-managed or a property manager through our realtor (20% of bookings). My wife and I both work full-time and 2 kids, so worried about how much effort is involved. I welcome any advice on the topic.

If we went about the self-managed route, what’s the best way to find a reliable cleaning crew/handyman to be the boots on the ground?

Thanks in advance. Hopeful we didn’t bite off more than we can chew.
