Check in / check out times?

It seems like the standard check in/check out time is 4pm check in 10am check out. Has anyone ever adjusted these and had good responses such as 2pm check in 8am check out or 6pm check in 12pm check out? Just wondering if it would make a difference or at least if you have multiple properties it would be easier to have your cleaners do multiple properties with more of a buffer.

We tried 10 am check outs when we first started and guests did nothing but complain, said it was too early. So we just stick with 11 and 4.
