AirBnB changing their COVID-19 policy?
I received an email from Airbnb just a few minutes ago. The change highlighted below. If I’m reading this correctly, they’re not longer issuing full refunds for travelers just because of covid-19. This would be a huge shift from their previous position and would be much more owner friendly. Thoughts?
Here’s what else you need to know:
Guests who booked before March 15 will still need to substantiate that they’re sick or unable to travel in order to cancel for a full refund under our extenuating circumstances policy.
Unless they’re sick, guests who booked after March 14 won’t be refunded under the extenuating circumstances policy if they cancel due to COVID-19.

I think the COVID excuse has run its course. It's been a known risk for quite a while now. Anyone cancelling now due to COVID is busting your chops.
