Secure Key Lock Box

Yesterday I discovered someone had broken into my key lock box at my cabin. After watching a couple YouTube videos, I’ve learned it’s a pretty easy thing to do. We have the master lock model 5423D. Does anyone have any suggestions for a more secure box or ideas for managing the extra keys?

If someone wants to break in to something, they are going to break in.  All you are doing is slowing them down. I don't bother locking my doors.  But I keep a camera watching the door from the inside.  My wife and I both get an alert if there is motion.  I've called the police before.  They are at the property within 30 seconds (this is a small town).

The first person that I caught on camera went to prison for 18 months.  I saw them yesterday at a clinic for a drug screen.  The state took their child away.  When I walked into the room I asked them "Do you know who I am?"  They said they did.  I asked if they've stayed out of trouble.  They said the did.  Then they apologized for breaking in to my house.
