Hello Community!

Just wondering if any of you have had success in or around the hocking hills, Ohio area in terms of short term rentals? I’m looking at 3/4 br cabins w/ moderate to mild rehabs. Thank you guys!

Hey Bryce, we did! We were extremely lucky to find a newly built cabin off-market in January and closed on it in mid-March. So far, so good, much better numbers than we had anticipated due to the demand down there at the moment. Even though we bought something that was pretty much turnkey, it has been a ton of work getting everything operational and a lot of self-education. Linking with good people has been key (especially the cleaning service), similar to any other market, but I'd say it's even more crucial when managing a short-term rental from a distance.
