Vacation rental management - VRBO/BnB or Property Management

Mike Jornlin
Posted

Vacation rental investors... Does anyone have experience using VRBO or Air bnb vs full property management?

I'm investing in a vacation rental used a majority of the time in the summer, and debating which way to go wether it's one or the other, or a combo of both. Any lessons learned or advice would be much appreciated!

I use Vrbo and Airbnb vs a PM. It is not that hard and I enjoy self managing. A PM in the vacation rental can cost you 30% of gross profits. That can sink your ability to make any money.

I would take @Luke Carl up on the phone call. He can give you all the ups and downs of this business.
