Guest says credit card will be denied

Advice? I just accepted an Airbnb request to book for today, then the guest said he used the wrong credit card to book. He will put the correct card in once the original gets denied.

I told him about 2 hours ago to cancel his reservation and re-book with the correct card instead of waiting for a denial and I’ll save his reservation, but I haven’t heard back from him yet.

He might be legit, but he might not be. What are your suggestions?

@Kathy Hansen

Thanks!

It looks like he submitted a new card, so it all worked out great!
