Hey on short term rentals

I know alot of people are referring to STRs as Airbnb and VRBO.  My question is if an area won't allow short term rentals does this mean you couldn't have a management company for your house or condo rent it out for you even if they book directly from their website or indirectly through VRBO and Airbnb ...etc...

Thanks

If an area won't allow short term rentals, it doesn't matter if it's booked directly, through a property manager, AirBNB, VRBO, etc. it's still not allowed.  Always research the local laws and ordinances to make sure you're complying with them; every location is a bit different.
